Joshua Kiok is the founder of Beyond The Ordinary Safaris Limited and a professional safari guide with over 15 years of experience exploring Kenya’s wild landscapes.
He developed a deep connection with nature and wildlife from an early age. His journey into the safari industry began as a field guide, where he spent years guiding travelers through Kenya’s most iconic destinations, including the Maasai Mara, Amboseli National Park, Samburu National Reserve, Tsavo West National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha and Laikipia.
Through these experiences, he developed an exceptional understanding of animal behavior, ecosystems and the rhythms of the African wilderness and driven by a vision to offer authentic and memorable safari experiences. The Kenyan-owned safari company ensures personalized service, expert guiding and meaningful connections with nature.
Joshua is also a passionate wildlife photographer and bird watcher. He likes capturing dramatic moments from the African bush and sharing the beauty of Kenya’s wildlife with travelers from around the world. He then continues to lead Beyond The Ordinary Safaris Ltd with the same passion and dedication that inspired him to begin guiding many years ago.
